The ACM-ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) is a team based programming contest consisting of generally 8-11 problems of varying difficulty. Since the 1990s, colleges have been competed at yearly regional competitions, trying to claim a spot at the World Finals.
The UTSCode contest was made as a joint effort between student organizations and the computer science faculty at UTSC, to help generate interest for the East Central Regional competition. If you want to improve and feel ready to take on the World Finals, let us know and we'll see what we can do.
Every year we try to giveaway cool unique prizes. Last year we gave out Corsair K70 mechanical keyboards, cracking the coding interview books, and amazon gift cards. We also provided food complentary of The Hub.
Any student from the University of Toronto St. George, Scarborough, or Mississauga campus can attend.
None at all! For some this may be the first coding competition they compete in. You only need to be familiar with submitting solution on the Kattis judge.

Official ICPC regulations require you to have a team of 3. For this contest, we will allow you to have less members.

You can find problems on the Kattis judge, but we recommend solving problems with your team from past ECNA regionals or look at the problems from last year's contest.
